National Education Assessment System (NEAS) is planning to test students in the subjects of Mathematics, Urdu/Sindhi,  Science and Social Studies.  NEAS, in collaboration with Provincial/Area Education Assessment Centers, has developed sample design, assessment instruments and background questionnaires for Head Teachers, teachers, students and parents.  Lead Master Test Administrators (LMTs) have also been trained. 

National Assessment Testing, 2008 (NAT) has been scheduled from March 26-29, 2008 in the subjects of Languages and Mathematics for Grade-IV and Science and Social Studies for Grade-VIII in 1751 Government  and private Urdu medium schools of 115 districts through the Provincial/Area Education Assessment Centers.  The outcomes of this activity will provide critical feedback on the standards of our education system.  Therefore, it is imperative effectively monitor the forthcoming NAT.  Moreover, the start timing of assessment is 9:30am.
