Mr. Aurangzeb Rehman, Joint Educational Advisor/Project Director-NEAS

Overall responsibility to oversee implementation of policies and plans of the Government in the area of assessment at Federal, Provincial and Area levels. (Joint Educational Adviser, Planning and Policy Wing, MoE is ex-officio PD).

 


 Mr. Muhammad Jamil Bajwa, National Project Coordinator (NPC) NEAS

NPC has the overall responsibility for planning (financial, human resources, institutional/ individual work-plans, training etc), coordination, supervision, implementation and reporting/disse-mination of all NEAS activities at the CW Unit and in the Provinces and Areas.


 Ms. Nighat Zatoon , Deputy Directress (DD) NEAS

Assist in the execution of the responsibilities of the NPC, looks after all administrative and financial affairs of NEAS and coordinates between various departments of the Federal Government and the Provincial/Area Governments.


Ms. Shafqat Rahman, Test Development Specialist (TDS) NEAS

TDS has the responsibility for planning, coordinating, supervising, implementing and reporting all test develop-ment and administration activities, with assistance from PMT, SSs and ITS. Also to plan and provide input to in-house/in-country training.


Mr. Jaffar Mansoor Abbasi, Test Development Specialist (TDS) NEAS

TDS has the responsibility for planning, coordinating, supervising, implementing and reporting all test develop-ment and administration activities, with assistance from PMT, SSs and ITS. Also to plan and provide input to in-house/in-country training.


Mr. Amin Dad, Psychometrician (PMT) NEAS 

PMT's responsibility is collaborating with TDS and SSs in determining the psychometric requirements of assessment instruments, the needed format for efficient data-analysis, knowledge and application of available software for data-analysis and for generating reports. Also to provide input to in-house/in-country training.


Mr. Affan Ummar (Additional Charge), Information Technology Specialist (ITS)-NEAS

ITS has the responsibility for all IT equipment, systems and software to make the IT unit user friendly and facilitate efficient use by NEAS staff. Knowledge and ability to use available and newly arriving software packages for test development, analysis and report generation would be needed. Would also be required to liaise with suppliers for repairs and maintenance to keep the IT system in good working order.


Mr. Muhammad Farooq, Test Administrator (TAd)-NEAS

TAd has the responsibility for coordination and administration of tests in institutions of ICT and participate in all activities of assessment leading to the development of test items, their analysis, scoring, reporting and dissemination.


Mr. Abdullah Manzoor, Accounts and Administration Officer (AAO)

AAO has the responsibility to look after the administrative as well as financial affairs of the NEAS; to coordinate with the provincial/area governments for monitoring/settlement of financial matters with them; to keep the overall record of funds, process the procurement of materials, equipment furniture, stationery, etc; and to maintain the stock register, disbursement of amounts, to handle the audit of the expenditure with the AGPR & all other relevant organizations.


Ms. Shabana Naz, Subject Specialist (SS) Science-NEAS

SS Science has the responsibility for getting test items/questionnaires developed, reviewed, edited in collaboration with TDS, PMT and teams of subject teachers. Also to provide input to in-house/in-country training.


Ms. Alia Batool, Subject Specialist (SS) Social Studies -NEAS

SS Social Studies has the responsibility for getting test items/questionnaires developed, reviewed, edited in collaboration with TDS, PMT and teams of subject teachers. Also to provide input to in-house/in-country training.


Mr. Zulfiqar Shah, Subject Specialist (SS) Mathematics-NEAS

SS Mathematics has the responsibility for getting test items/questionnaires developed, reviewed, edited in collaboration with TDS, PMT and teams of subject teachers. Also to provide input to in-house/in-country training.
