National Education Assessment System has been established in Islamabad under administrative control of Ministry of Education, linked with Provincial Education Assessment Centres (PEACEs) and Area Education Assessment Centres (AEACs) with two partnering institutions namely Institute of Educational Research (IER), Punjab University, Lahore and Federal College of Education (FCE), Islamabad.
